about our Horse Consignment program.
I am a firm believer in giving young
horses the right basics and correct training before pushing them
in competition. All of our youngsters are carefully trained; they
are never over-faced or pushed beyond what they are ready for. We
bring each horse along at the rate that is best for the
individual. Even if they are green, everything that has been
done with them has been done the right way, so that they have not
lost confidence or developed bad habits. I find this makes an
enormous difference in helping each horse reach its full
potential.
Please, serious inquiries
only. We are happy to show horses to serious buyers; if you are
ready to find your new partner, make an appointment to come to
Windchase and see our horses. You will not be disappointed!
It is helpful if you can download our Release Form and

KARAT GEM
– Chestnut
2013 American Warmblood mare, around 16 hands. Her pedigree includes
bloodlines from the Oldenburg, Hanoverian and Dutch Warmblood registries, as
well Thoroughbred and a touch of draft. Karat has Evented successfully at
the Novice level, and is schooling Training, with the scope and ability for
more. Do you want to fly? Karat will put wings on your dreams. She is
forward thinking and talented, and absolutely loves to jump. She is also
excellent in the dressage phase; she has beautiful movement and is very well
schooled on the flat. She is athletic and surefooted, with a great uphill
balance. Karat is a forward ride, but goes in a snaffle all three phases,
and she loves to compete – she is at her best when she is at a
competition. She is a special mare that is capable of developing an amazing
partnership with her rider. She can be spicy, so she wants a confident rider
